Welcome to Northfield Retirement Community Situated on a 30-acre beautifully landscaped campus, NRC was established in 1969 to provide housing and care specifically designed to meet the physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs of older adults. Housing options include apartments for independent seniors with an active llife style, both market rate and apartments for limited incomes, as well as other living arrangements that provide increasing levels of service and care.
This campus has a long-standing affiliation with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as a Social Ministry Organization. Because it is a not-for-profit organization, the Community can direct all their resources toward helping enrich the lives of its residents. Corporate members include nineteen area churches representing other denominations in the Northfield area. Our Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from our corporate membership.
